New East Wind DFM Tractors – Designed for Aussie Farmers

The latest range of tractors from East Wind build on a tradition of powerful, reliable machines purpose built for the Australian lifestyle farmer.

The first East Wind tractor was launched in Australia over fourteen years ago. "And from the beginning, ongoing development to build the ideal tractor for Australian conditions has been the highest priority." explains East Wind director, Scott Spring-Brown.

"The new DFM range is the culmination of this development and delivers the best performing, feature packed tractors from East Wind yet - and all of this at surprisingly good value." said Scott

The East Wind DFM range is available in 25hp, 30hp, 35hp, 40hp, 45hp and 55hp models so there is a size to suit all lifestyle farmers.

They are powered by the world famous China Diesel Engines of Perkins design. "Literally millions of these engines have been produced over the years and they have earned a reputation for bullet proof reliability." added Scott.

"On the tractor itself, time proven features include 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive models, power steering and a roll over protective structure. A three point linkage system and 2 speed power take off enables all popular implements to be fitted from slashers, to rotary hoes to grader blades to get all kinds of jobs done around the farm." said Scott

"With these new DFM models we have concentrated on refinements that make the machine more comfortable and easy to use for lifestyle farmers. Features that will really be appreciated include a larger, more comfortable seat, weather cabin options, easy engine access bonnet and shuttle shift models." he continued.

"The new models are available with a 4-in-1 front end loader option which will no doubt continue to be popular" advised Scott. The factory fitted 4-in-1 bucket offers outstanding versatility as it has the ability to scoop, blade, level as well as grab. It's ideal for shifting all kinds of material from soil, to gravel to garden mulch. Opening the 4 in 1 bucket up exposes the blade for scraping and pushing soil. And being able to close the bucket over an object gives the ability to grab.
