The Bungala Aboriginal Corporation was set up to deliver the community development program for areas such as the APY lands. A NEW piece of machinery on display at Agfest this year is the East Wind compact 'dozer.
East Wind Tractors director Troy Spring-Brown said Tas Farm Equipment had just been appointed a distributor of this popular model.
"Tas Farm Equipment has five branches around Tasmania and that will provide great representation for the range of East Wind tractors, 'dozers and Hanmey equipment," Troy said.
He said the East Wind Mark II 'dozer was particularly popular in higher rainfall areas.
"The machine is well suited to wetter areas where traction needs to be good," Troy said.
"It's a great all-round machine that can be used for block development tasks such as earthmoving, establishing driveways and even fencing."
